Cloudy, with a side of cancer.

So. I have breast cancer. I've spent the last two weeks agonizing over this and worrying that it would be a death sentence. Turns out it's not - turns out that breast cancer has become a survivable cancer. I'm still waiting for my brain to catch up to that idea.

But it's still scary, and it's why I haven't been around for a while. Right now, I'm only at the very beginning of starting to come back to something that resembles my normal self.

(P.S. Please don't share any horror stories or internet information - I don't think I can take it.)

OhmyGods. I don't know what to say. I haven't been keeping up, but so sorry to be reading this. Definitely a good reason to let your blog lapse for a while.

*hug* I'm listening.

Oh J! I am so sorry, and agree very much that it's NOT a death sentence at all. Sending you love and calmness in overcoming this.

Please make use of the Women's Cancer Research Center and their programs:

Two very good friends who have survived breast cancer found great comfort in their programs. Hang in there, PF!

Gads, I am sorry to hear that, but, you are a tough cookie and it is very surviveable. Sending good mojo your way.

((((Plains)))) I am so sorry! :(

Something I have worried about my whole life, I can imagine how it feels since I have replayed it over and over in my mind so many times. It runs in my family, but all of the women in my family survived it.

(((love you, and heavy-duty novenas to St Peregrine, specialist in this regard, are on the way))))

PF, I just noticed this. I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you. You have many people out there thinking good thoughts for you. For that reason, and because you are tough and strong, this will be OK.

I never should have missed this, but school has consumed my life since the end of September, and I missed it. Caught up now, though. You'll be in my thoughts, and here's hoping this journey is as quick and painless as possible for you.

Can I just say, though... I'm so glad you're still blogging through this. The blogosphere needs you, babe.
